Friendlies

A friendly is a one-off match against another club outside any league or tournament — perfect for a grudge match, a warm-up, or just lining up a game when you want one.

Booking a friendly

Friendlies are captain-to-captain. The flow is a simple challenge and accept:

  1. 1Send a challenge — a captain challenges another claimed club.
  2. 2They accept — the other captain accepts and you agree a time.
  3. 3Play & sync — play it in EA and sync the result — it confirms like any match.

Rules of the road

Both clubs have to be claimed. Challenges expire if they aren't answered, and there are cooldowns to keep things fair. A friendly is still a confirmed PitchFC match, so it counts: it grants the same per-match XP as any tournament or league game.

Head-to-head

Played the same club before? The friendlies surface keeps your head-to-head history, so you can see how the rivalry stands before you book the next one.

Friendlies can also be booked from the PitchFC Discord bot — the web and Discord flows do the same thing.
