Guide · Your player

Your player & build

Your profile is your scouting card — the first thing a captain or recruiter sees. Fill in your build, add a render of your character, and learn how the EA and PitchFC stats on the page differ.

1 · Build your character

Your build lives in Settings → Player Build. You type it in by hand — there's no screenshot to upload. It's entirely optional and purely informational (nothing here is verified or used to calculate rankings), but a complete build makes your profile read club-grade.

  1. 1Enter your attributes — each of your in-game attributes (pace, shooting, passing and the rest) as a value from 0 to 99, grouped the same way EA groups them.
  2. 2Set your work rates — your attacking and defensive work rates (High / Medium / Low).
  3. 3Equip your PlayStyles — pick the PlayStyles you have from the catalog, and star the ones that are signature (“+”) PlayStyles.
  4. 4Declare your roles — choose the positions you actually play — these feed your profile and the transfer market's role filter.

2 · Change it any time

Your build isn't locked. Whenever you change your in-game player — a new PlayStyle, a re-spec, a different position — head back to Settings → Player Build, update the values, and save. The new build shows on the Build tab of your profile right away. Signature PlayStyles render in gold; regular ones in white.

3 · Add a player render

Instead of an initials avatar, you can put your actual in-game character on your card. In Settings → Player Render you upload a screenshot of your player; we remove the background for you and layer the cutout onto your FC card. You can nudge its position and scale to get the framing right — no re-upload needed.

Reading a profile — EA vs PitchFC

Every player profile carries one toggle that switches the whole page between two views of the same player. It's a single mental model — every number on the page agrees with it.

EA mode
Your EA Pro Clubs cycle — the matches EA tracks, including casual friendlies outside PitchFC. This is the broad, raw picture of your season.
PitchFC mode
Only matches confirmed on PitchFC. Deeper verified totals (shots, passes, tackles, clean sheets, wins/losses) that EA's career summary doesn't expose.
Your stats follow you, not your club

Stats are tied to your linked EA profile, so they travel with you between clubs. Your build and render are self-reported personalization; your match stats come from real games. The two are always shown as what they are — never mixed.
